Global Programs

At The Local Mission we envision a world free of exploitation that values human life.  While we are dedicated to our local community, the issue of trafficking and exploitation is global.  We will partner with international organizations working in the area of human trafficking and exploitation around the world and send proceeds to help them create impact and prevent exploitation.

Because we are still in the formative stages we don’t have any official partnerships, but there are a number of global organizations we love that work in the area of prevention of trafficking and exploitation.

There are three ways to engage human trafficking: Awareness, Prevention and Aftercare.  All three play a crucial role in ending trafficking and exploitation and healing the abused.  At The Local Mission we are focusing on prevention.

As the coffee shop gets off the ground the Board of Directors will determine 3-4 international organizations to support that have programs focused on prevention. In the meantime, check out these great organizations.
